Less time than you think. The Copywriter Igniter course comes with 7 modules, but here’s how you’re meant to go through it:

Module One: sit back and relax while you watch it. Takes a few days…

Module Three: this is where you start putting stuff together. Client-landing stuff. It will (and should) feel too soon. There’s a reason behind why, but more on that in a second. But modules three is all about…

• creating your pricing menu

• writing your samples

• getting a copywriter email address if you don’t have one already

• finding potential clients online and throwing them on a pitch list

• getting your cold pitch ready

• establishing all your other client-landing habits

• starting an instagram page

• posting to the IG page even if you’re feeling clueless and so so SO green

• creating a habit out of getting visible as a copywriter every single workday

You could blaze through all the above in a couple weeks. That way, we get you rocking-and-rolling as a copywriter out on the scene WHILE you learn how to write the things. Because let’s be real, it’s going to take some upfront effort before you hear your first “can we hop on a call?” So the Copywriter Igniter gets you working towards that moment by showing up online as a copywriter before you feel ready.

Then from there, you can leisurely watch modules four - seven. Those are the modules where you actually learn how to write the deliverables you need to write, email by email. BUT (and this is fun), you don’t have to realllly pay attention until you’ve actually landed a client. The “learning how to write things” modules are there to guide you AS you work with a paying client.

I have copywriters who’ve taken a bunch of AWAI courses, Alex Cattoni courses, broad courses that kinda teach you everything about copywriting (yet somehow leave you feeling like you’ve got no idea what to do next). I’ve even had veteran copywriters take the Copywriter Igniter and report feeling “blown away” but the amount they were missing. The main components of the Copywriter Igniter are learning the 4 deliverables above plus my 8 client-landing methods.
